The text of this evening's robo-call - August 14, 2016

Hello Marshall families,

What a great first couple days of school we had last week.  We're all looking forward to our first full week of school starting tomorrow morning at 8:35.

We've got just a couple quick updates for you this evening, so please stay on the line to find our all about what's happening at Marshall School.

First of all, please don't forget to complete your family's Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program application online.  You can find a link to heartlandapps.com on the Marshall School website and on the School Blog: www.marshallmagnetschool.com.  Don't delay in completing your application or you child will begin to accrue a balance which you may be required to pay, even if you qualify for this assistance.

Parents, please don't drop your children off at the school before 8:20 in the morning.  Breakfast is not served, and teacher supervision is not available until that time every day.  Parents will be notified and required to return to the school to retrieve children who are dropped off before 8:20.  If you need childcare for your child prior to 8:20 in the morning, please consider enrolling your student in FACTS for a nominal fee.  A limited number of scholarships are also available to families who qualify.  Information about the FACTS program is available in the school office and online at www.fusd1.org/facts.

Finally, we want to warn you one more time that you may be ticketed for dropping your students off in front of the school anywhere the curbs are painted red. Flagstaff PD was spotted on patrol in front of the school on both Thursday and Friday last week and several drivers were pulled over.  Parents please remember to drop your children off in the parking lots across the street. Our crosswalks are staffed before and after school to help your child safely across the street to the school.

That's all, folks.  Thanks for listening.  As always, if you missed any portion of this message, the text is available on our Facebook page and on the school blog: www.marshallmagnetschool.com.

Goodbye.
