The text of this evening's robo-call - March 28, 2016

Hello Marshall families,

We've got just a couple of quick updates for you this evening, so please stay on the line to find out all about what's happening at Marshall School over the course of the next couple of weeks.

First of all, we hope you'll make plans to eat out at Fratelli Pizza this Tuesday, March 29th.  As they've done before, Fratelli will donate 10 percent of all of their proceeds for the entire day on Tuesday to Marshall School.  As always, we're super grateful to Fratelli for making this very generous donation to our school.

Don't miss our annual Suzuki violin performances this year.  Our kindergarten, first and second graders will showcase their abilities this week at the Hurley Theater at Flagstaff High School.  Everyone's welcome, but seating is limited, so be sure to arrive a little early if you hope to get a seat.  Our kindergarteners will perform tonight, first grader will perform tomorrow night, and second graders will perform on Wednesday night.  All performances will be from 5:30-6:30.  Hope to see you there.

Planning ahead, if you can't make it to these performances, you'll have another chance to see our violinists play on May 5th at high noon at Heritage Square downtown.

That's about it.  Thanks for listening, everybody.  As always, if you missed any portion of his message, the text is available on our Facebook page and on the school blog: www.marshallmagnetschool.com.

Goodbye.

Please join us tomorrow night at the school for Kin Konnection, a Support Group for Grandparents and Relatives raising children sponsored by Northern Arizona Council of Governments and Parenting Arizona. This beneficial group is intended to help caregivers connect with school and community resources.  We will meet for the first time at Marshall School on Tuesday evening, March 22nd from 6:30-7:30 and again on April 5th and 19th in room 23.

The text of this evening's robo-call -- March 11, 2016

Hello Marshall families,

We're calling tonight to wish you a happy, safe, and healthy Spring Break and to let you know: the office at Marshall School will be closed throughout the break, from March 14 through the 18th.  We'll see all of you back at the school on Monday morning, March 21st.

We hope you've made plans to attend our annual PTO Family Fitness Night at the school on Wednesday, March 23rd.  From 5:30-7:00 that evening over 30 vendors will be at Marshall with fun and interactive activities like Zumba, Flag Football, Aerial Arts, Swimming Drills, Dance, Yoga, Basketball and lots of free Raffle Prizes, too! Bring the whole family and come dressed to sweat!

Finally, when we get back from break we'll only have a few weeks to go until tax day on April 15th.  Marshall School is still about $3500 shy of our annual fundraising goal this year.  If you haven't already made your tax credit contribution to Marshall, it's not too late.  You can still make your donation up to the time you pay your 2015 taxes. Remember, your tax credit dollars are a credit against the taxes you must otherwise pay to the state. Without them we cannot sustain our one-of-a-kind magnet programs, artists and scientists-in-residence and fieldtrip experiences.

More information about our tax credit program, as well as the entire text of this message, is available on our Facebook page and on the school blog: www.marshallmagnetschool.com.

Have a great Break, everyone!

Goodbye.
