The text of this evening's robo-call -- January 11, 2016

Hello Marshall families,

First of all, we'd like to take a moment to say "Welcome Back" after our somewhat prolonged very-wintery break.  It was sure nice to see all your smiling faces at school today.

We've got just a few announcements and updates for you this evening, so please stay on the line for the next minute or two to find out all about what happening mid-January at Marshall School.

First of all, we're excited to report that Arizona Governor Ducey recently signed into law new rules for the Arizona Public School Tax Credit Program which now allow you to make your tax credit contribution to Marshall any time prior to paying your 2015 taxes.  That means you can make your donation , a dollar-for-dollar credit against the taxes you must pay to the state, directly to Marshall School up to and until April 15, 2016.  In the coming weeks, we hope you'll choose to help us to sustain our one of a kind magnet programs and extracurricular activities and field-trips for another year.

Fifth grade parents, don't forget, applications for middle school magnet academies are due to the Mount Elden and Sinagua middle schools on or before February 1st.  Information about the programs available at both of these schools is available on their respective web-sites which can be accessed via

The Marshall School Site Council will meet at 4:00 in the Library tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, January 12.  Everyone's encouraged to attend and the meeting will conclude by 5:00.

Finally, don't forget: This weekend is a three-day weekend. There will be no school on Monday, January 18th to commemorate Martin Luther King Day.

Thanks for listening, everyone.  As always, if you missed any portion of this message, a link to the text is available on our Facebook page and on the school blog:
