The text of this afternoon's robo-call - Thursday, July 2, 2015

Hello Marshall families,

We're calling tonight to wish you a happy "midsummer" and to remind you of just a few important things, so please stay on the line for the next minute or two to find out what's happening at Marshall School.

First of all, I hope you'll join my family and me as we participate in the annual Flagstaff 4th of July Parade again this year.  If you'd like to walk in the parade as a representative of Marshall School, be sure to wear your Marshall-blue or white shirts and meet us at our assigned staging area on Fine Avenue between Humphreys and Beaver Streets.  The parade starts at 9:00 AM so please be at the staging area at 8:30.  The Flag High Band will lead us through the parade route.  We hope to have as many Marshall students, parents, teachers, and staff there as possible.  What a great way to show our Marshall PRIDE!  Hope to see you there.

Finally, please keep in mind that the first day of the 2015-2016 school year is Thursday, August 6th.  We will begin as usual, at 8:35 in the morning and all first through fifth grade students will be dismissed at our usual time, 3:20, on the first day of school.

Kindergarten students, however, will go home early on the first day of school.  Our new kinders will be dismissed to go home at 12:25.  If your new kindergartener rides FUSD transportation, please plan to follow the bus home to meet your child at the bus stop afterward.

All students will be dismissed at our usual early-dismissal time, 12:25 of Friday, August 7th, the second day of school.

Thanks for listening, everyone.  As always, if you missed any portion of this message, the text is available on our Facebook page and on the school blog:
