The text of this evening's robo-call -- March 31, 2015

Hello Marshall families,

We've got just a couple quick updates for you this evening, so please stay on the line for the next minute to find out all about what's happening at Marshall School.

First of all, we hope you've made plans to attend Flagstaff's second annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Math STEM Night tomorrow evening in the Skydome at NAU.  The event will feature more than 100 vendors, organizations, and schools showcasing their wares and activities from 5:30 until 7:30 pm.  Marshall Arts and Science Magnet School will be there in full force.  Hope to see you there.

Don't forget, there's no school this coming Monday, April 6th.  We're calling it Spring Holiday and we hope you enjoy your three-day weekend doing the things you enjoy with the people you love.

Thanks for listening everybody.  As always, if you missed any portion of this message, the text is available on our Facebook page and on the school blog: www.marshallmagnetschool.com.

Goodbye.

The text of this evening's robo-call -- Monday, March 9, 2015

Hello Marshall families,

It's Connect To School and Parent Teacher Conferences week at Marshall School, so there are a number of big changes to our daily dismissal schedules this week.  Please stay on the line for the next minute or two to get all of our updates.

Among the important activities we will hold this week are our Connect To School parent group data meetings which will take place on Wednesday morning and afternoon in every classroom at Marshall.  All of our parents are encouraged to attend these key meetings to review student achievement and receive essential tools to use at home to help your child become more successful at school.  Several flyers, notes, and RSVP forms have been sent home in anticipation of this second-ever of its kind event.  If you have questions about our Connect To School meetings, please contact your child's teacher, or, better yet, plan to attend your child's classroom group meeting on Wednesday to see for yourself what all the fuss it about.

Please take special notice: We will dismiss school at 11:10 this Wednesday, March 11, to ensure every parent group has ample time to meet together to discuss student achievement.

On Thursday and Friday this week, we will dismiss school at 12:25 each day.  If you would like to meet with your child's teacher you are encouraged to arrange personally for a time to meet together for a traditional individual parent-teacher conference on Thursday or Friday.  Report cards will be distributed during these conferences or sent home with students at the end of the school day on Friday.

We'll hold our second annual Native American Family Night at the school on Thursday, March 12.  We hope all of our families will plan to attend this one-of-a-kind school event to hear local artists speak about their craft.  Food will be served and event will take place from 6:00-8:00 in the gym.  The book fair, which is open before, during, and after school all week, will also be open from 7:30-8:00 during Family Night.

Finally, don't forget, school will be dismissed for Spring Break at Marshall from Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20.  We hope you're able to spend this time with those that you love doing the things you enjoy.  We'll see you back at school bright and early on Monday, March 23.

Thanks for listening everyone.  As always, if you missed any portion of this call, the text is available on our Facebook page and on the school blog: www.marshallmagnetschool.com.

Goodbye.
