The text of this evening's robo-call -- Tuesday, April 22, 2014

Hello Marshall families,

We've got a few important updates for you this evening, so please stay on the line to find out all about what's happening at the school over the course of the next couple weeks.

This Thursday evening, April 24th, we'll hold our annual school carnival from 6:00-7:00.  Please come ready to play fun games and enjoy light snacks at this important fundraiser.  Remember, all proceeds from this evening's events and activities go back to participating teachers to benefit their classroom funds.

Don't forget, we''ll dismiss school this Friday, April 25th, and next Monday, April 28, giving everyone a much deserved long, four-day weekend.  We hope you're able to spend this extra time off with those that you love.

Finally, next Thursday, May 1st, at high noon all of our kindergarten, first, and second grade students will perform at Heritage Square downtown.  Students with signed permission slips, which are due on April 29th, will walk downtown along the Flagstaff Urban Trail with their teachers and classmates. Students should wear white or royal blue for this performance.  If you would like to purchase a Marshall t-shirt from the PTO for your child to wear at this event, they will be on sale on Tuesday, April 29th, and Wednesday, April 30th, before and after school.

Thanks for listening everyone.  As always, if you missed any part of this message, the text is available online on our Facebook page and on the school blog, www.marshallmagnetschool.com.

Goodbye.

The text of this evening's robo-call -- Tuesday, April 8, 2014

Hello Marshall families,

We've got just a few quick announcements for you this evening, so please stay on the line to find out what's happening at Marshall over the course of the next couple weeks.

First of all, we're pleased to let you know that a number of our kindergarten, first, and second grade Suzuki violin students will be performing this Saturday afternoon at the Flagstaff Mall's annual Sights and Sounds exhibition.  If you have already made arrangements for your child to be among the performers, please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled performance time.  Our kindergarteners will perform at 3:00, first grades at 3:20, and second graders will play at 3:40.  If you have not already arranged to have your child perform, we hope to see you in the crowd as a spectator supporting Marshall school.

AIMS and Stanford 10 testing started on Tuesday at Marshall and AIMS will continue next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for our third, fourth, and fifth grade students.  We appreciate all that you're able to do to encourage and equip your child to work hard and be successful on these important achievement tests.

Finally, don't forget to plan to attend our 14th annual Heritage Square Suzuki violin performances at high-noon on Thursday, May 1st.  At this event all of our kindergarten, first, and second grade players will showcase their talents.  If you don't have a blue shirt for your child to wear at this performance, our PTO will be selling $10 Marshall t-shirts before and after school on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 29th and 30th.

Have a nice evening everyone.  As always, if you missed any portion of this message the text can be found on our Facebook page and the school blog: www.marshallmagnetschool.com.

Goodbye.
