The text of this evening's robo-call

Hello Marshall families,

We've got a number of updates and announcements for you this evening, so please stay on the line for the next couple of minutes to ensure you're up to date on all that's happening around Marshall School.

We'll hold our spring-time parent teacher conferences beginning on Wednesday, March 12, running through Friday the 14th.  Please remember to make arrangments for your child's after-school care during early release all three days.  On Wednesday we will dismiss students at 11:10 and on both Thursday and Friday school will be dismissed at 12:25.

During parent teacher conferences, and all throughout the week next week, our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the Library during school hours.  As a special attraction, we will hold a special Family Night honoring our grandparents and elders on Thursday evening, March 13 from 6:00-8:00 in the evening at the school in the gym.  Regional Navajo artists and authors Shonto Begay and Bahe Whitethorn junior and senior are scheduled to attend.  Marshall teachers will also be on hand during the evening to read to children .  All Marshall community members, especially our grandparents and elders, are invited to attend this first-of-its-kind event.

Please stop by the Gym during your child's conference time to peruse our once-again filled to overflowing lost-and-found.  If your child is missing a coat or a lunchbox, it's very likely to be found among our collection.  All that's left over after Friday, March 14, will be donated to local charitable organizations.

Finally, please make plans to attend the first Flagstaff Community STEM Celebration on April 2nd at the Walkup Skydome at NAU from 5:30-7:30 PM.  This event will showcase the many ways science, technology, engineering, and math education is occurring in FUSD schools and throughout our community.  All FUSD schools and more than 50 local business and governmental agencies will be on hand to show their support of public education in Flagstaff.

Thanks for listening everyone.  As always, if you missed any portion of this message the text is available on our Facebook page and on the Marshall School website,
