The text of Sunday evening's robo-call

Hello Marshall families,

On behalf of all of us here at Marshall, I'd like to tell you how much we enjoyed seeing you at Parent Teacher Conferences this week, and to thank you for the great turn out last night at the Book Fair Family Night.

We hope you all have a great Spring Break!

When we return to school after the break on Monday, March 24th, many of our students will begin the last bit of earnest preparation to ensure they're ready to take their annual achievement tests, the Stanford 10 for second graders, and the AIMS test for our third through fifth graders.  We've been working hard all year to be prepared to showcase our best work on these important exams.  AIMS and Stanford 10 are our Game Day.  We ask that you remind your student of the importance of doing their best on these tests.

We hope you've made plans to attend the upcoming FUSD STEM Celebration on Wednesday, April 2nd, at the NAU Skydome.  This event will showcase how science, technology, engineering and math education is occuring throughout the city, and especially at Marshall Magnet School.  The event will begin at 5:30 and conclude at 7:30 that evening.

Finally, it's not too soon to make arrangements to come and see our first, second and third graders perform at Heritage Square on May 3rd at high noon.  Our annual Heritage Square performances are a wonderful way to show off our many talented students as well as the unique arts magnet programs at Marshall School.

Thanks for listening, everyone.  As always, if you missed any part of this message the text is available on our Facebook page and the school blog:

Have a great break!  We'll see you back at school bright-and-early on Monday morning, March 24th.
