The Text Of Tonight's Robo-call

Hello Marshall families!

We'd like to update you on everything that's going over the course of the next few weeks at Marshall School.

First up, just a quick reminder that Marshall's annual fundraiser, the Mustang Gallop jog-a-thon, will take place during the school day this Friday, October 4th.  There's still time to collect your contributions!  Proceeds from this year's fundraiser are earmarked for playground improvements at Marshall.  Thanks for your participation in this important effort.

Wednesday, October 9th, is International Walk To School Day.  We'd like to encourage all of you, as Marshall students and families, whether you typically walk or get transported to school by other means, to consider walking all or part of the way to school on the 9th. A permission slip will be sent home with bus-students this week.  All of our buses will stop at the National Guard Armory parking lot on Thorpe Road and let-off students with signed permission slips to walk to Marshall school along with teachers and parent volunteers.  Bus-students who don't have a signed permission slip to hand to the driver that morning will ride the bus to the school building as usual.

Wednesday, October 9th, is also Picture Day.  All Marshall students and classes with sit for Lifetouch portraits.  Information about purchasing student photo packages was sent home with your child recently.

Marshall's Site Council will convene next week on Tuesday, October 8th, in the Library at 5:00 PM. As always, as a Marshall School stakeholder, you are welcomed and encouraged to attend this meeting.

Last of all, don't forget to plan ahead to attend your child's parent-teacher conference Marshall will release students from classes early on Tues, Wed, and Thurs, Oct. 15, 16, and 17 for parent-teacher conferences. We will dismiss at 12:25 on Tuesday and Thursday and at 11:10 on Wednesday

Friday, Oct 18, is a school holiday.
